We Celebrate Women. We started this blog to highlight inspirational women from different nooks and corners of India. Often girls are subjugated to societal pressures, putting them in situations where breaking out of the patriarchal chains becomes difficult.
We aim to showcase women who broke through stereotypes and made a name for themselves in this world. With these stories, we hope to inspire young girls worldwide in fulfilling their dreams and leaving their mark on this world.
Who Are We
We are based out of the United States. Throughout our life, we were inspired by women across different fields. Yet, the limelight somehow always remained on all the men. That made us think about celebrating women’s achievements and led to the creation of this blog.
What Do We Do?
We aim to magnify messages to the world. This is done through writing stories, sharing highlights from life, and interviewing women showcasing their struggles and hard work. Young girls all over the world benefit from having role models. We create stories not just to highlight the achievements of women but also to leave an impact on our readers.
We cover women across all fields. Whether it is sports, entertainment, science, or lifestyle, we celebrate women for their achievements. Often the struggles a woman has to go through are more than what a man has to. While achieving success is determined by hard work, women have to face societal hindrances too. Most men don’t have the pressure of serving family, arriving home at a given time, or traveling late nights. When it comes to women, often in the disguise of protection, many restrictions are imposed. This makes the task of overcoming societal boundaries even more significant.
With our blog, we aim to inspire not just women but everyone from men to parents. Once parents recognize the talents and achievements of women, it brings a change of thinking in society. More parents will allow and encourage their daughters to pursue their interests. With the men reading, we aim to convey that women aren’t inferior or a competition. We should work together to lift each other up. The world is a better place when men and women work alongside rather than against each other.
